Shropshire Summer Hockey Camp August 2026

As part of our Shropshire relaunch this summer, we’re excited to deliver a two-day Performance & Fundamentals hockey camp at Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club.

Alongside our July re-launch camp, this event is designed for players who want to take their game to the next level — building on core skills and applying them in realistic match situations across two high-quality training days.

Whether you’re attending both camps or joining us for the first time in August, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your performance ahead of the new season.

Players attending our July camp will receive priority access and follow-up communication for this event.

Venue: Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club, TF2 9LU

Dates: Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th August 2026

Times: 10am - 4pm, both days

 

We will also be running a 2-day October Half Term camp, continuing player development into the season.

We will be taking lots of high resolution photographs at this camp and will create an online album for players and parents to view, save and share.

A number of factors will be considered when putting players into their groups including ability, age and friendship circles. Players can switch their camp on the day if they wish- they just need to tell one of the coaches. Book a space on to whichever you feel is most suitable at this point and you can discuss it with us further at registration if you would like to.

  1. You agree that hockey is a physical sport and that injury may occur. You, therefore, consent to first aid being given to your child (by a qualified first aider) in the event of any injury.
  2. You consent to photography/videography of your child during coaching activity for us to use as feedback tools as well as in marketing material and other publications
  3. Players must have appropriate protective equipment (shin pads and gum shield for outfielders and full protective equipment inc throat guard for GKs)
  4. You understand that PerfX Hockey will use the information you have provided them to contact you in the event of an emergency and also to keep you informed of future events
