Opportunities to play for PerfX Hockey in matches and competitions.
In the 6 years that we have been running, many players and parents have told us how much they would love it if we ran our own teams and entered them into matches & competitions.
Having spent a long time exploring these options, we have found several competitions and tournaments which welcome team entries from non-affiliated hockey organisations such as ourselves. We are looking to assemble to best teams we possibly can to enter these competitions and compete against some of the best players in the country.

A top class option which raises the game
Some of the environments which players find themselves in could be much better, for a wide range of reasons. Some of the coaching environments that we see are great, but lack a real focus on developing individual players' skillset and ability level. We are not trying to replace these environments, but rather give talented players the option to "top-up" their learning and be stretched further.

It shouldn't matter who the coach is from year to year. It shouldn't matter they're the only player from their club. It shouldn't matter that they didn't get selected last year. There should be a clear development pathway where players of certain ages will develop their skills no matter what environment they are in. Players should have the opportunity to work with talented coaches regardless of which club they're at. Too often players at certain clubs feel they cannot participate in out-of-club environments as they fear they are not welcome or they don't fit in or they're worried the coach will not give them a chance.

The work we will do with our teams is designed to offer a wide pool of young hockey players the experience of a serious and high performing sports team. Simply put, we intend to deliver the things you would expect to see if your child was playing junior international hockey.
We are being deliberate to ensure that what we do does not clash with what your child already has in place, whilst ensuring that what we do takes them further than they could ever go had they not joined us. We want to ensure the best players at clubs and counties are being pushed by players of a similar level.

Age groups: U11's, U13's, U15's & U18's
We are on a mission to deliver the best hockey programme available to talented young players from a mixture of clubs.

Professional and talented coaches delivering a top class hockey syllabus
All of teams will be ran by experienced and skilled coaches who are serious about developing the players not just in their hockey, but as people too.
The coaches have spend an incredible amount of time devising what we feel is the perfect learning framework for all of the age groups we intend to run. This includes a skills matrix and hockey syllabus designed to ensure the learning which goes on within our teams is of the highest standard, and all player shave a specific set of skills they will learn when they work with our coaches. When joining one of our teams, the players will gain an understanding of the development they can expect to face to ensure they are focused on what we are trying to achieve.

An all year round programme
We are not just lining our teams up to take part in one singular tournament, we intend to put on several training and playing opportunities for all of the age groups. Different age groups will enter different tournaments, for example we have secured a place in the UK Lions U13 Championship, however this competition is exclusive to this particular age group.
