3 day High Performance Camp 2022
Format: This camp will follow a similar format to that of a NAGS camp. Players will spend the first morning working through a carousel of sessions before being split into 2 squads. From this point onwards the players will only train in their squads, with a dedicated coaching team. There will be a full pitch, full 70 minute game on day 1, a training day on day 2 ahead of the final championship match on day 3. All players will receive a water bottle and an adidas playing shirt.
There will be two age groups available to join at this even, creating two camps running concurrently. Pitch time will be allocated and shared, when one age group is on the pitch the other age group will be inside completing off-pitch tasks such as video analysis.
Dates: Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th August 2022
Venue: Stone Hockey Club
Suitability: This camp is suitable for experienced players only. As a guide, players should be at the top end of their AC group as a minimum standard. If you are in AC and feel that you are at a suitable level to participate in this camp or if you are not in the player pathway, please contact us to discuss your playing ability before booking. Any player who has attended this camp in previous years is welcome to join us again.
We are incredibly open to discussing the suitability of this camp to you and typically can give you an answer within an hour. Please get in touch, we would hate for you to miss out if the camp is suitable.
Injuries, first aid and illnesses
In placing a booking with us you acknowledge that PerfX Hockey will do everything reasonable to ensure a safe environment but cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury. It is your responsibility to ensure your child wears the appropriate safety equipment. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child is delivered to the training venue and collected on time. It is your responsibility to inform PerfX Hockey of any illness or allergy your child may have. You agree to allow a qualified and trained member of the coaching team to perform first aid where required and you will have standby arrangements in place should your child require further medical attention or need to go home to rest. If an injury is so severe that an ambulance is required immediately, PerfX Hockey will do this without hesitation.
Photography and filming
You agree and give consent that photographs and films of your child can be taken during the session for the purpose of giving feedback directly to the player. These may also be used for publicity and marketing purposes including social media.
Data Protection
You understand that PerfX Hockey will store my personal information that you have given as part of this booking and they may contact you at a future date to inform you of its future events.
Event fees and refunds
You agree to pay the fee prior to the event date and understand that the event fee cannot be refunded if you withdraw your child within seven days of the event, although in most cases a credit note will be offered.
COVID-19
Finally, where a player must withdraw from a session relating to COVID-19 safety measures, a full refund or a credit note will be offered without hesitation. We politely request that we are informed of this at the earliest possible time so we can offer the place to another player. In the event of a 1-to-1 coaching session being cancelled, we would need to cancel the coach and save them from travelling so it is particularly important in this scenario.
